Fraction Strips ( Math Activity )
This is what me ( Ruqayat ), Ema and Emora made this week for math in room 11.
This week our math activity we to create a slide showing our fraction strips. To make this all we needed to do was split each rectangular box into fractions. For example, we split on box into 3 pieces because that makes 1/3. Then we did that all the way until we made it to 1/9. I suggest doing this math activity because it helped me and my buddy's to understand fractions more.
What I did this week in room 11
This week in room 11 we did collage art!
What is collage art?
Collage art is art the you pile things on top of each other. Instead of drawing straight onto a piece of paper or a white board or just anything you draw straight onto.
How do you make collage art?
Collage art is really easy to make. All you need is sheets of paper (colorful or non colorful your choice).
After that you just make the shapes you need for your picture then stick them onto a piece of paper and pile them up on top of each other.
For inspiration you can visit website - NZ online gallery link in label
if link doesn't work copy this link right here - https://www.nzlandscapes.co.nz/browse/gallery/
for an example look at this picture ( and this is not my art i'm just using it as an example ).
